Alina is a psychologist with strong quantitative and qualitative skills. She joined RCSI from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she was involved in a one of the largest school health surveys on the globe supported by the WHO. In RCSI she will contribute to the research activities under WP2.
Trained as a medical doctor and with an MSc in Health Economics, Policy and Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Martilord will contribute to the economic studies carried out by Radbound University under WP3. His first task will be a 7-week field mission to Tanzania to collect essential data on cost of surgery in rural district hospitals.

The extensive research experience of both will be a key asset in strengthening the SURG-Africa team and we look forward to working with them!
