We talk again with Professor Eric Borgstein to hear the latest COVID-19 related developments in Malawi: the recent health workers strikes and the cancellation of the lockdown in the country.
Professor Borgstein teaches surgery at the University of Malawi College of Medicine and he is also a consultant paediatric surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. He is also COSECSA's Secretary General. We have Dr Paul Marealle today with us. Dr Marealle is a senior orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute, where he also is chairperson of the quality assurance improvement team. Past president of Tanzania Surgical Association, is currently council member of College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA).
