Dr Linda Chokotho was the first female orthopaedic surgeon in Malawi. While volunteering at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, established the first Hand Surgery Clinic to improve the management of hand conditions.
She is a fellow of the College of Surgeons for East, Central, and Southern Africa (COSECSA) and a member of the Core Group for the World Health Organisation (WHO) Mentor-VIP program.
